that might be a mistake to stretch the swingarm and lower the bike if you like riding the twisties that much.  If you do drag race, you could get an adjustable rear linkage to lower the bike before you make some runs.

You will really diminish the abilities of such a nice handling bike.  Just my thoughts.

I can appreciate your opinion.  I am more of a function over form kinda guy when it comes to bikes.  I think carbon fiber and high temp. tape looks much better than chrome, etc.

You should hook up with someone from here going to BeaveRun.  That's probably the closest to you.  That or Summit Point.  I think if you try a track day you will really dig the curves.  Or if you get to hit some twisties in your area.  Maybe some of the State College folks would show you a few routes out that way.  Smiley

Yeah, I think anyone on here could help ya out.  I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd be happy to offer you what pointers I can if we get to ride together.  Smiley  If you haven't taken an MSF course, I'd highly recommend one and then like I said, get to a track day with some ppl you know that can help ya out.  It's a great time!.  Smiley

We'll have to plan to meet-up sometime when Baddog and I travel through there on our way to/from my brother's place in Cumberland.  Even plan a meet-up half-way sometime.  I know alot of the guys on this forum within driving distance would be happy to coach you and ride along to give you pointers when we can get together.  We also highly recommend track days.  One of the BEST ways to get comfortable, confident, and SAFE handling a bike in the curves.  Really helps with your position, form, and handling.  Hopefully you'll meet up with some other expert riders in your area as well.   afro

I'd be happy to show you the ropes during a track day.  I plan on attending 8/16 at beaverun with nesba.com and 8/28-8/29 at summit point with teampromotion.com.  I'd like to get a couple more in yet this year as well.
