Wish I was - we're trying the endurance race at VIR the week after if we can get the bike put together in time...lol!  Nothing like cutting it close!

I'm leaving now for Summit.  I'm doing the practice tomorrow (Friday), then I'm probably just going to hang out on Saturday.  I'll be racing on Sunday, then off to the beach for a few days, then to VIR. afro

Oteps, you have a PM.

We just found out that our third rider cant make it.  Anyone have a race license and want to ride?Huh??  it will be on a 2nd gen sv650 you will have to split the costs, normally around $300-400.  you have to be able to ride for 1 hour straight, twice.  We do give you a break between them.   yeah its last minuite,  but for me its normally a race to get everything ready for the race.

yeah, I was wondering too.  You guys must have some incredible cardio to make it 1 hour at a time!  I've done Light endurance track days at 30 minutes a clip.  I made it through a whole day though at nearly 6 hours of track time though!

We finished 5th in our class.  We found 2 other riders, one was william hendrix and the other was kneescraper.  We didnt get much practice, one of the other teams had a oil sensor come loose causing him and his teamate to wreck.  And there was an oil trail from turn 4 to 9 that had to be cleaned up.  kneescraper did very good on the sv, he was able to drop lap times quickly and stay consistant.

Thanks for the compliment, OTEPS.  I appreciate it and we all did pretty well, considering I had what, like 4 laps of practice?? grin

Thanks for the offer.  I was truly humbled and honored that you asked me.  It was the first time I ever raced anyone else's bike and it truly made me feel great that you would even consider me to help your team out.  I'm just glad that I did well and didn't crash your SV. grin

Send me a PM with your full name and address and I will send you a check for the entry fees/tire fees. afro

It would have been nice if we had some more practice.  the sv was kleiny's, I was never on that bike before the race.  Normally I try to get down there for the friday practice but I was too busy at work.  Thanks again for riding with us.
